Discover the journey behind Becorpio Noir! From Agatha Christie inspirations to forensic science, creator Sabrina shares her story. 🔍🎃
Introduction:
I'm Sabrina, the creator of Becorpio Noir, and I want to share the story behind the creation of our immersive case file game. It’s a journey fueled by a lifelong passion for mysteries, horror, and creative storytelling.
The Inspiration:
Growing up, I was captivated by Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None." I devoured the book, played the Wii and PC games, and listened to the audiobook. My fascination with different media adaptations of this story ignited a spark in me.
Halloween and Horror:
Born around Halloween, I've always had a fondness for scary movies and haunted houses. My favorite TV show, "Harper's Island," combined suspense with mystery, and I loved speculating who the killer might be.
Forensic Science and Creativity:
I studied forensic science, which perfectly complemented my passion for creativity. This combination of skills and interests set me on the path to creating Becorpio Noir.
German Influence:
As someone from Germany, I played many mystery board games growing up. These experiences made me realize that I could create something unique in this genre.
The Birth of Becorpio Noir:
When I was extremely broke one Christmas, I decided to make a case file game as a gift for my parents. Using free tools and cheap printing, I created a simple version that turned out so well that friends and family encouraged me to produce it professionally.
The Journey:
I spent a year improving, designing, and perfecting the game. I hired voice actors, did the graphic design, and created an intricate web of clues and a website to host them. The result was Becorpio Noir.
The Future:
With the first game launched and the second game ready for production, I am excited about the future of Becorpio Noir. My journey has been a blend of passion, creativity, and a love for mysteries, and I can’t wait to share more adventures with you.

Love, Sabrina
